# Register for an Event

> How to sign up and pay for a league, tournament, or drop-in session.

## Find your event

Go to your league's Fieldday page — your organizer will have shared this link with you. It looks like `yourleague.fielddayapp.ca`. Click **Events** to see what's open for registration.

## Create an account

If it's your first time registering, you'll need to create a Fieldday account. Click **Register** on the event and you'll be prompted to sign up with your email address.

  Use the same email address your organizer has on file for you. If you've played with this organization before, you may already have an account — try **Sign in** first.

## Registration steps

    Click **Register** on the event you want to join.

  <Step title="Choose or create a team">
    Depending on how registration is set up, you'll either join an existing team, create a new one, or register as an individual.

  <Step title="Fill in your details">
    Confirm your name, contact information, and any other details the organizer has requested.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign the waiver">
    If the event requires a waiver, read it carefully and sign by typing your name.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pay">
    Enter your payment details to complete registration. Fieldday uses Stripe for secure payment processing. You'll receive a confirmation email immediately.

## Confirmation

After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with your registration details. Your name will appear on the team roster visible to your teammates.

## Registration not open yet?

Check the event page for the registration open date. You can't register before that date, but you can bookmark the page and come back.

## Event is full?

If an event is at capacity, you may be placed on a waitlist. Your organizer will contact you if a spot becomes available.
