# Submit Scores

> How team captains submit and confirm game scores.

Score submission is done by team captains after each game.

## Submit a score

1. Go to the schedule at `yourleague.fielddayapp.ca/events/[event]/schedule`
2. Sign in if you haven't already
3. Find your completed game — it will show an **Enter score** button
4. Enter the final score for both teams
5. Click **Submit**

The score is submitted with a **Pending** status until the opposing captain confirms it.

## Confirm the opposing team's score

If the other team submits first, you'll see a **Confirm score** button on the game. Review the score and click **Confirm** if it's correct.

Once confirmed, standings update automatically.

## Score is wrong?

If the submitted score doesn't look right, click **Dispute** instead of confirming. This flags the game for your league organizer to review and correct.

  Only team captains can submit and confirm scores. If you don't see the **Enter score** button, check with your organizer that you've been assigned as captain for your team.

## Deadline for submission

Some organizers set a deadline for score submission. Submit your score promptly after each game — if it's not submitted by the deadline, your organizer may enter it manually.
