# Brackets

> Set up single or double-elimination tournament brackets.

  Double-elimination brackets are available on the **Pro** and **Club** plans. Single-elimination is available on all plans.

## Create a bracket

1. Go to **Admin → Events → \[Your tournament] → Bracket**
2. Click **Generate bracket**
3. Choose **Single elimination** or **Double elimination**
4. Select which teams to include
5. Click **Generate**

Fieldday randomly seeds teams by default. You can drag and reorder seeds before generating.

## Single elimination

Each team plays until they lose once. The bracket progresses until one team remains undefeated.

## Double elimination

Teams are eliminated after two losses. There's a **Winners bracket** and a **Losers bracket** — teams who lose in the Winners bracket drop to the Losers bracket and get another chance.

## Enter bracket scores

As games are played, enter scores directly in the bracket view. Winning teams automatically advance to the next round.

## Reset a bracket

If you need to start over, click **Reset bracket**. This clears all scores and results but keeps the teams seeded.
