Where to find it

Admin → Events → [Your event] → Schedule Click the pencil icon on any game row to open the Edit Game modal. The cancel and postpone controls are at the bottom of the modal.

Cancel a game

Use this when a game will not be played at all.
  1. Open the Edit Game modal for the game
  2. Click Cancel Game
  3. Optionally enter a reason (e.g. “Field unavailable due to weather”)
  4. Toggle Notify teams on if you want both teams emailed
  5. Click Yes, Cancel
The game is marked Cancelled and a red badge appears on the public schedule. If a reason was entered it is shown beneath the game.

Postpone a game

Use this when a game is delayed or moved to a future date that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
  1. Open the Edit Game modal for the game
  2. Click Postpone
  3. Optionally enter a reason (e.g. “Rescheduled — new date TBD”)
  4. Toggle Notify teams on if you want both teams emailed
  5. Click Yes, Postpone
The game is marked Postponed and an amber badge appears on the public schedule.
After confirming the new date and time, edit the game to update it, then use Restore Game to return it to Scheduled status.

Restore a game

Once a cancelled or postponed game is back on, you can restore it to scheduled status.
  1. Open the Edit Game modal for the game
  2. Click Restore Game
  3. Toggle Notify teams on to send a “Game Back On” email to both teams
  4. Confirm
The game returns to Scheduled status and the cancellation reason is cleared.

Team notifications

When Notify teams is enabled, both the home and away teams receive an in-app notification and an email.

Notifications are only sent to teams that have been assigned to the game. Template slots (e.g. “TBD”) do not receive emails.
