Overview
The /media page lets you showcase highlights, game footage, and social posts without hosting any video yourself. Admins paste YouTube or Instagram URLs — YouTube videos embed directly, and Instagram posts display as branded link cards.
The media page requires the Starter plan or higher.
Where to find it
- Admin → Media — add and manage items
- Public page at
[yourleague]/media
The Media link appears automatically in your public navigation once any items are added.
Add a YouTube video
Go to Admin → Media → Add
Click Add to open the add media panel.
Select YouTube
Choose YouTube as the media type.
Paste the video URL
Paste the video URL. Watch URLs, share links, Shorts URLs, and embed URLs all work.
Add an optional title and caption
These are shown below the video on the media page. Both are optional.
Save
Click Save. The video embeds in a 16:9 player on the media page.
Add an Instagram post
Go to Admin → Media → Add
Click Add to open the add media panel.
Select Instagram
Choose Instagram as the media type.
Paste the post URL
Paste the URL of an Instagram post, reel, or TV video.
Add an optional title and caption
These appear on the card displayed on your media page.
Save
Click Save. Since Instagram doesn’t allow direct embeds, the item appears as a branded card with caption that links out to Instagram in a new tab.
YouTube videos and Instagram posts are shown in separate sections on the /media page. YouTube is labelled “Videos” and Instagram is labelled “Instagram”.
Reorder items
Use the ↑ ↓ buttons in the admin list to change the display order on the media page. Drag-to-reorder is not available — use the arrows.
Remove an item
Click the delete button on any item in the admin list to remove it from the media page immediately.
Follow CTA
If your organization has an Instagram handle set in Settings → Website, a “Follow us @handle” link appears at the bottom of the media page to help visitors find your social profile.
