Double-elimination brackets are available on the Pro and Club plans. Single-elimination is available on all plans.
Create a bracket
- Go to Admin → Events → [Your tournament] → Bracket
- Click Generate bracket
- Choose Single elimination or Double elimination
- Select which teams to include
- Click Generate
Fieldday randomly seeds teams by default. You can drag and reorder seeds before generating.
Single elimination
Each team plays until they lose once. The bracket progresses until one team remains undefeated.
Double elimination
Teams are eliminated after two losses. There’s a Winners bracket and a Losers bracket — teams who lose in the Winners bracket drop to the Losers bracket and get another chance.
Enter bracket scores
As games are played, enter scores directly in the bracket view. Winning teams automatically advance to the next round.
Reset a bracket
If you need to start over, click Reset bracket. This clears all scores and results but keeps the teams seeded.
Resetting a bracket is permanent and cannot be undone.
