Custom domain is available on the Club plan only.
By default, your organization’s public page is at yourname.fielddayapp.ca. With a custom domain, you can serve it from a domain you own — for example, leagues.yourclub.com.

Set up your custom domain

Step 1 — Add your domain in Fieldday

  1. Go to Admin → Settings → Branding
  2. Scroll to Custom Domain
  3. Enter your domain (e.g. leagues.yourclub.com)
  4. Click Save

Step 2 — Add a DNS record

Log in to your domain registrar (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare) and add a CNAME record:
TypeNameValue
CNAMEleaguesyourname.fielddayapp.ca
Replace leagues with whatever subdomain you want to use, and yourname with your Fieldday slug.
DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate, though it’s usually much faster (under an hour with most registrars).

Step 3 — Wait for SSL

Once the DNS record propagates, Fieldday automatically provisions an SSL certificate for your domain. This usually takes a few minutes after the DNS change is detected.

Verify it’s working

Visit your custom domain in a browser. You should see your Fieldday org page with a valid SSL padlock in the address bar.

Troubleshooting

“This site can’t be reached” — DNS hasn’t propagated yet. Wait up to 24 hours and try again. “Not secure” warning — SSL certificate is still being provisioned. Wait a few minutes. Still not working after 24 hours — Double-check your CNAME record points to yourname.fielddayapp.ca (not an IP address).
