“Registration is not open”

Cause: Registration hasn’t opened yet, or the registration close date has passed. Fix (for organizers): Check the event’s registration open/close dates under Admin → Events → [Event] → Overview. Update the dates or manually change the status to Registration open.

”This event is full”

Cause: The event has reached its maximum team or player capacity. Fix (for organizers): You can either:
  • Increase the Max teams or Max participants limit in the event settings
  • Manually register the player from Admin → Events → [Event] → Registrations

Player can’t find the event

Cause: The event may be in Draft status, or the player is looking at the wrong organization’s page. Fix (for organizers):
  • Make sure the event status is set to Registration open (not Draft)
  • Share the direct link to the event with the player: yourname.fielddayapp.ca/events/[event-slug]

Player registered but doesn’t appear on the roster

Cause: Registration may be in Pending status (payment not completed). Fix (for organizers): Go to Admin → Events → [Event] → Registrations and check the player’s payment status. If they paid but the status is still pending, mark it as paid manually. If they haven’t paid, ask them to complete checkout.

Player didn’t receive a confirmation email

Cause: The email may have gone to spam, or the player used a different email address. Fix (for players): Check your spam folder. Search for an email from hello@fielddayapp.ca. Fix (for organizers): Confirm the player’s email address in their registration record and ask them to check spam.

Waiver won’t load

Cause: Browser or network issue. Fix: Try refreshing the page or using a different browser. If the waiver still won’t load, the player can contact the organizer to sign it another way.
